K-Tools Mode Highlight Documentation

Overview

K-Tools Mode Highlight is a Blender addon that enhances the user interface by providing visual feedback through automatic header color changes based on the current mode. This feature helps users quickly identify their current working mode in Blender. For me, it is very useful because due my great lack of attention i enter in modes and i don't know what I'm doing or where i am!!!!!

Interface Location

The addon's interface can be found in:

• 3D Viewport > Sidebar (N) > View > Mode Highlight panel

Color Customization

The addon allows customization of colors for seven different modes:

Left Column:

1. Object Mode
2. Edit Mode
3. Sculpt Mode
4. Pose Mode
5. Vertex Paint Mode
6. Weight Paint Mode
7. Texture Paint Mode
8. Grease Pencil Draw

Color Selection

• Each mode has its own color picker
• Colors are saved per Globally.
• Changes are applied immediately

Troubleshooting

If the header colors are not updating:

1. Check if the addon is enabled
2. Verify that the "Enable Colors" option is checked
3. Make sure you're in the 3D Viewport
4. Try restarting Blender if issues persist
